Add an avatar to your account

Sellers can now show a profile avatar in Herpeton Market, using a Google image, uploaded image, or initials fallback.

Herpeton Market now supports account avatars. Your avatar appears in the account menu and helps make the marketplace feel more personal when you manage listings and conversations.

If you sign in with Google, Herpeton Market can use your Google profile image. You can also upload your own avatar from seller settings, or remove the upload later if you want to return to the default image.

  • Upload a custom JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP avatar up to 5 MB.
  • Fall back to your account initial when no profile image is available.

How to use it

  • Sign in to Herpeton Market.
  • Open Settings from your account menu.
  • Upload an avatar image in the avatar field.
  • Save your settings.
  • Remove the uploaded avatar later if you want to use your Google image or initials again.

This keeps account identity lightweight: use an existing Google profile image, upload a marketplace-specific avatar, or leave the simple initials fallback in place.
